  I was pleased with the service provided for reservation. Cabin was cleaned, well equipped with kitchen stuff and other requirements. Generally every thing was just great and we had wonderful time.

  The place is very nice and very roomy, everything was well stocked, we had everything we needed there and even did laundry which all amenities were provided which was very nice. The only bad thing was we went at the end of february and a bear hit our car which scared us and this was the first time we had encountered a bear. So be very careful you never know when or where the bears wonder. Other than that the place was very nice and also we went at the wrong time no snow during that time which would have been nice so next time we will plan the trip in march so then everything will be perfect. i would rent this place again for my family. one more thing please fix the fireplace, it did not work.

    Thank you! The fireplace is being replaced and will be good to go soon! So sorry to hear about the bear scare!! Wildlife is in all areas of South Lake Tahoe and you never know when you will encounter a bear, coyote, raccoon or other forest creature. It's always safe to keep a good distance and not feed them or entice them with anything. It sounds like you handled it well! See you next winter!

  Property management were very nice. Heating system filter was absolutely clogged with dirt. Large window shade in living room was broken and would not open properly. Sleeps up to 8 people but only 6 chairs to eat at table.

  4 stars on cleanliness only because it had not been cleaned when we arrived but that was taken care of immediately. Wet sheets were then left in dryer so we were not able to leave dry towels. Otherwise all was GREAT and we enjoyed it!

  It was a nice stay with 6adults+2kids. Only thing was, heat was not working in one of the upstairs bedroom...bummer...had to crash in the living room. Other than that it was a great stay.

• This house has everything you need! very clean & kids enjoyed big open backyard! We can't wait to return. We'll definitely use Lake Valley Property. VERY PLEASANT TRIP!!!

  Great location and a beautiful meadow at the back of the house. Well maintained rental.
  
  Only con is that the description about gas BBQ on is incorrect. There is a charcoal BBQ, which unfortunately was full of ashes from previous uses when we arrived.
  
  I would come back to this rental!

  Very good property, super location, super view. We like almost everything, but dinner table and chairs - table to high, and square - it was not really comfortable for us to sit.

  a couple of suggestions, you might one to fumigate in between rentals, there were a few critters running around, spiders, etc.
  
  also you might want to add a few bright lights in the bedroom and living areas.
