  This is the 5th time we have stayed at this cabin. We love the location and the rental management. However, the owner need to do some major maintenance before real problems occur. The cabin needs some major deep cleaning from the carpets to the furniture. The front door was broken and we had to tread thru snow to go back and forth. Lovely Cabin but heading down the wrong path.

  FUN HOUSE FOR TEENS AND PRE TEENS. I NEEDED TO CLEAN THE FLOORS AND COBWEBS, ALONG WITH THE FURNITURE AND FIREPLACE. COULD USE UPGRADED TV.

  The cabin was budget quality, but given the low price it was a great value. I will stay here again in the future. It will remind you of your grandmothers house, older appliances and amenities. Only complaint from the guests in the party was the home needed to be dusted, and there were and abundance of spiders and cobwebs. Nothing I wouldn't have expected for a cabin in the woods, but a bit alarming when you encounter 2 large spiders in the shower curtain and on the stove while cooking. Other reviews stated that hot water was an issue, but it was nothing you wouldn't expect when you have a normal 60 gallon water heater in snow country where the cold water entering the home is 33 degrees. The only way to improve it is if you had an on demand water heater. Nonetheless we were able to get ~4 7-minute showers before running out of hot water.

  The main problem we had was the water heater. We were out of hot water during a shower, which is absolutely horrible experience.
  
  Location is Okay, not center of South Lake Tahoe, but has grocery stores nearby.
  
  Everything of this house is old (furnitures, appliances, carpet etc.).
  
  However, the price seems to reflect those conditions.
  
  Overall it's acceptable if you are on a budget.

  Excellent value and location. Property could do with updating but then they'd charge more! Wish there weren't so many cobwebs and would've been nice to have been given some washing up liquid.

  This is the second time we have used lake valley properties. We had a great time. Backyard was perfect for the children to run around and build forts for their snowball fights. Only complaints were there were alot of spiders in the house some were very large and the stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms were very narrow had one fall. Other then that we had a wonderful time. We will definatley be back again next year. We are even thinking of maybe renting for the summer

  it was a wonderful stay. although some furniture could need a little updating like the tv stereo(didnt work) bed (offtrack) soem lightbulbs not working, but overall , i will rent it again next year.

  not perfectly clean dishes and all other kitchen stuff, to many dirthy spots in the home, like children's bed this something like old blankets in the bedroom this pool table looks ugly. Everywere a lot of different stuff, which nobody can use. Very old TV and DVD - we were unable to see ours movies. Enterence not realy comfortable
