  When someone is paying this kind money for a rental the Internet connection needs to work. The fact that I didn't get a partial refund made me feel ripped off. Also, the windows on the outside had cobwebs everywhere. No, I would not recommend this property!

  Although convenient to Pope Beach we still had to drive as the gate access to Pope is locked requiring card key access. We would have loved to use the pool but not at $7.00 per person per day. We were in Tahoe Keys but not able to use any of the amenities. The house was not clean, we found food and a pencil underneath the dining room table. And the stove was filthy - the burners had food crusted on the drip pan and the oven needed cleaning plus the oven temperature was way off so we were not able to use it. Television reception was terrible - the screen was all snow and there was a wifi router box with a password but it was not connected. Bottom line, we will not be renting V3 again although we will use the Lake Valley Properties to rent our vacation home at So. Lake Tahoe. As a side note - this property needs some general maintenance and a thorough cleaning.

    Thank you for the feedback Joyce - I appreciate the information about the cleaning needed. I just wish we had known while you were here so we could have had someone come out to do a few things to make your stay more comfortable. The Tahoe Keys pool access is $7 per day or $30 per week which includes the indoor/out door pools, hot tubs (at the indoor complex) and beach that is adjacent to the outdoor pool. The beach you are referring to that requires card access is called Lighthouse Shores and is not available for all Tahoe Keys guests. It's only for the lakefront property owners and guests in the gated area called Lighthouse Shores. We'll make sure the TV and wi-fi get back to working condition - I am glad you let me know otherwise I wouldn't know it needed repair. I'm glad you'll be coming back to us in the future - hopefully I can help you find something that will work well for your family. Take care, Julie ll

  Its a great house in a good location great views and close to everything.Only one minor problem was the shower door in the downstairs bathroom wont stay shut which wasnt a big we had a great time.

  We enjoyed our stay. We booked it very last minute, so they may have not been able to get it cleaned as well as we would have liked.Had to do some cleaning of our own when first arriving. Ceiling Fan could not be used, tv reception little to none. If housecleaner would do deep cleaning this would be a wonderful rental. Even with that we would return. Julie at Lake Valley was wonderful in booking our vacation

  This location was awesome to view several fire works displays on the lake but the small deck running the length of the house was filthy with cob webs, dust and a broken screen laying against the house. We had to clean and haul chairs outside in order to view. The inside was just okay clean but does need a good cleaning in and out!

  The house was spacious with a knock out view. The furnishings were dated, but since we had kids and dogs that wasn't a big deal. We went up with another family and the house was very comfortable for all of us. We'd definitely stay there again.

  I've usually had great experiences renting this home, however, I was very surprised by the number of spider webs found. The cable to the bedroom tv was not functioning, and one of the lamps in the living room had loose wires exposed. I would definitely recommend maintenance to this home. It would also be nice to have this home cleaned or even just dusted prior to arrival of guests. However, my overall stay was nice. I really enjoy Lake Tahoe.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Venice Drive house and would definitely stay there again. The view from the back of the house is gorgeous and the bedrooms are all spread out which gives the place a very spacious feeling. The management company is extremely helpful as well. We left two DVDs behind and they promptly sent them to us two weeks later. Great service.

  The house architecture and location is perfect for families and children, accommodates 8-10 people with plenty of room. However, the furniture and living space is very old and smelled of cigarette smoke when you walked in. The TV in the bedroom didn't work. The house was very dusty and had cob webs. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the house needs a little love!

  The kids were playing outside in the back and on the way back in - we noticed that on the side of the property, there was a lot of dog poop. It was covered up by the snow but as soon as it started to melt - it was noticeable. The only bad part of the trip. We had to tell the kids not to go play in the back for the rest of the trip.
