  We had a great stay at this spotless, well appointed condo located right across the street from Heavenly Valley.
  However, on the first night we noticed that the fireplace in the master bedroom was not working, so we called the management company. We were disappointed that one of the main selling points for us was inoperable. The answering service said we would need to call back tomorrow. No offer to take a message. I called back the next day and the person told me that they would relay the info. Pretty disappointed that we would have another night without the fireplace, we quickly forgot and enjoyed the rest of what the condo had to offer until later that night. We go to take a nice, hot shower in the primary shower and the water will not get anywhere near hot. Fortunately the upstairs bathroom also had a shower and it was working fine. It was however a major inconvenience. I called immediately to report this new problem. The next day I get a voicemail that someone will be coming by that day to look at the shower and fireplace. When we get home nothing had been fixed and there was no evidence that anyone had even come by to check on the issues.
  In the end, our stay at this condo was really amazing. It is perfectly situated to take advantage of Heavenly Valley and is only minutes from everything else in South Lake. We really want to come back to this condo, but unfortunately have no faith in the management company charged with making sure this condo is fit and ready for a great vacation stay. There was no effort made to compensate us for the issues and overall I would describe the attitude of the management company as very lackadaisical and apathetic.
  The fireplace in the masterbedroom was a major selling point for us and we feel like we got cheated by not being able to use it. The shower not working properly just made the sting of no fireplace a bit sharper.

  We could not have chosen a better location. We stayed for two nights in mid-January during the first real snow of the season. We walked right to the lift at the California lodge of Heavenly in less than 5 minutes. The condo is updated with new furniture, new appliances and all new cookware, etc. Our only complaint is that there was almost no water pressure or hot water in the downstairs shower, and there was no window covering on the window in the upstairs shower (where there was hot water), which makes it difficult for a female to shower. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend.

  I stayed in this condo for 3 months in Winter. The place is well supplied and well mantained. The location is excellent, just by the California Heavenly Tram. There is garage parking which is great for stormy times. The two bedrooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. Big front windows (actually glass slide doors to the decks) on both floors make it pleasant to be indoors. The gas fireplaces are great and add to the alpine atmosphere. I found the property managers helpful and responsible.

  The answering service did not know where the hot tub was located and the office is closed on the weekend. Other than that minor inconvenience all was terrific! FYI, keep the thermostat between 58 to 60 downstairs and the temperature is fine upstairs. There are extra towels in the main bedroom closet in a garbage type bag. Use the heating blanket to warm up and keep the beds warm at night.

• Location was great but the size of the unit (sleeps 4 comfortably) was a stretch as ther was no place to hang coats and very lttle drawers for clothing and our belongings. We had to use the second bedroom as a walk-in closet.

  Great location. The temperature downstairs (where all the bedrooms were) was dramatically cooler than upstairs. So when you woke up and went upstairs to make breakfast, it was baking hot.

  Nice place easy to get to casions by cab and rock throw distance from rental and the steps of Heavenly. Great time!!!!
