Lovely quiet Highland Woods chalet tucked back in the trees~ approx. 3.5 miles from the casinos and Heavenly Mountain Resort, and 1.5 miles from the lake. Hop on the bike trail just down the street. 2 bedroom, 2 bath plus a loft. Sleeps 6 with 2 queens, and a sofa sleeper in the loft. Cable TV, VCR, flat screen TV in the loft, wireless internet, fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances in 2009, linens provided, washer/dryer, gas woodstove, and recently upgraded bathrooms! No pets and no smoking. City of South Lake Tahoe VHR permit #: 2231

    The cabin was great we loved it but the only thing is the lighting in both bathrooms is really bad especially if you are a women trying to get ready for a wedding.

    Only down side was couches weren't comfortable and the upstairs couch pull out bed was in poor condition and could not be used as a bed limiting sleeping number to 4 from 6

    Great Location, nice cabin, very well maintained and comfy. The only not ideal thing about the cabin is the lighting. The lights in the bathroom were not good at all, and the kitchen lights were a little weird, but that is the only slightly negative thing about the cabin. Other than that, it is a great place to rent.

    This cabin was very nice. It had a great floorplan and was nicely decorated. It was great having the second bedroom and loft upstairs for the children. The beds were very comfortable. The only down side to this property was that a neighbor's dog was barking nonstop one night which was very annoying. I would still consider coming back to this property.
