  The cabin is wonderful and is centrally located. The backyard is gorgeous and completely fenced. We let our four year old pup ran free and he absolutely loved the back yard!

  This cabin is super cozy,unfortunatly we had to leave a few days early because we think we were getting sick from the high alttitude & the gas appliances,we just were'nt getting any sleep and my Husband got sick..over all we wish we could have stayed the whole week but we decide to spend the rest of our honeymoon at home in our own beds. we had 2 samll dogs that loved it there,it's warm and it was perfect for the 4 of us

  My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the Kokanee cabin. Coming from an Australian summer the weather was very cool for us in Tahoe through Febuary but the gas stove heater kept the cabin nice and tosty! and enjoying the spa pool in the snow really topped it of. This property is ideal for a couple but i would imagine more than 3 would get a bit crowded. Been 6'3 the bed was a little small but my girlfriend liked the extra warmth. Overall it was value for money and a lovely experience, I would recomended it to anyone.

  Cozy meaning VERY small. This cabin was not so welcoming until the cinder block walls heated up and the source of the smell of gas was discovered and remedied.
  The location was excellent, an easy walk to the shore of Lake Tahoe, short drive to the casinos and 25 min. jaunt back up the hill to Sierra @ Tahoe.
  The cabin was adequately stocked with kitchen supplies/utensils,towels and bedding. Be alerted that you are not supplied with any extra rolls of toilet paper.
  The sleeping accommodations were simply unacceptable. The tiny bedroom offered an uncomfortable narrow platform bed with a very firm mattress. The sofa bed did not have springs for the lower third of the mattress so it was impossible to lie on the mattress without legs falling through to the floor. The sofa mattress was placed on the floor and the sofa bed frame had to be folded up in order to find floor space.
  Fortunately, the property management company was receptive to our plight and we were offered other accomodations for the following 2 nights.

  We had a comfortable stay here. We were 3 adults and 2 dogs. The kitchen is well-equipped and the yard is really wonderful and peaceful. The water dog park nearby is an added bonus and we loved being able to walk to Sprouts Natural Cafe for breakfast. I would not recommend this place for more than 2 people since it was bit too cozy with 3 adults. Overall, a great place and I would definitely stay here again.

  We loved the decor and vibe to the place. It was a nice size with a nice back yard. Hot tub was nice but had a hard time staying warm if you didn't crank it. Shower door came off the roller and you had to make sure the fridge was closed all the way and push it. Bed was not the greatest but I like memory foam so it was OK. A little squishy of a bedroom. Definitely added to the cabin feel which might of been a little nooky but we like that.

  The cabin is very cute; however, the bedroom is extremely small and the bed was very uncomfortable. The bedroom got a little hot and stuffy as well. There is no fan in the bedroom and no screen on the windows so we couldn't open window. Otherwise it is
  an ideal cabin for two. The backyard is beautiful and the hot tub was an added bonus. Great location.

  This property worked fine for my husband and me. There were a few maintenance issues (screw on bathroom sink handle had to be constantly screwed back in, and same with the pocket door screws, and tv changer doesn't work). Our biggest complaint was that the snow plow never came through and plowed the driveway. We shoveled the door stop and walk from the driveway to door, but we got significant snow and never got the driveway taken care of. Other than that, we had a romantic, nice time, and the hot tub was WONDERFUL - seems like it's new! It's located so close to downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood. It's what we were looking forward to. I still can't believe that gas heater heats up the whole house like it does!

  This cabin was really cute, but the bedroom (and the bed) were really small. The bedroom had to be approx 8' X 10' and my husbands feet hung of the end of the bed. It was a comfortable bed, just small. It is also located up against the brick wall so if you are claustraphobic, dont do it. The yard was really cute, the hot tub was good. If the bedroom and bed were just a little bigger, we would stay here again.

  This was a wonderful property, very clean, comfy and cozy. We brought our son who loved to play in the backyard and it was so nice that is was completly fenced in. I don't think it would be right for every family though, a little too small for all the luggage and the sofa bed matress springs are broken so it was not very comfy for our son to sleep on. This would be a perfect getaway for a couple!

  The door to the fridge was not working properly and we had to clean out a couple of inches of water as we walked in - the last thing you want to do while on vacation.... Glass door to the shower was also malfunctioning... the cabin is cute, great location, everything you need, however it could use a little cleaning such as cob webs everywhere outside, and just no attention to detail (sheets/towels/etc.) Double bed and one side against the wall - small but comfy.

  I thought this was a lovely cabin! Initially there were going to be four adults staying and I still can't figure out how we would have all fit. It was a very tiny cabin but perfect for 2 people. Loved that we were able to bring our dogs on our vacation...the backyard was incredibly enjoyable. The only downfall I can think of is that the bed was a little too hard; and it was also a little stuffy...a fan in the room would have been perfect!
  
  Other than that the location was perfect...we were able to walk to the beach and even close enough to stateline!
  
  We will definitely return.

  My husband and I took our two dogs here for 5 days, and we had a great time. The cabin itself is small, clean, and charming, perfect for two and our small dogs. The the backyard is large and the hot tub was clean and a nice way to relax after a long hike or beach day. We loved the location, walking two blocks to the beach with dog water access. Super quiet neighborhood, and close to restaurants, shops, etc.

  The bed was a disaster! No boxspring and incredibly uncomfortable. The hottub was not useful for the first three days we stayed there- after speaking with the management, we were assured it would warm up in a couple of hours. It finally did warm up- 3 days later! The backyard was beautiful,although would have liked to grill, however, I was not aware that we would have to purchase crouquets. That might have been my fault for not reading close enough regarding the amenities. Would not stay again. Would not recommend. For the money- we could have stayed at a more comfortable place. Did I mention the bedroom was the size of my bathroom? Literally.....

    The hot tub had to be drained and filled after people checked out that morning so it takes a day or so to re-heat. We try if at all possible to not have to drain the hot tub when there is a check in the same afternoon, but in this case it was unavoidable. We are sorry you were so disappointed. Hopefully you enjoyed our beautiful Lake Tahoe area.

  My boyfriend David and I absolutely loved staying at this cabin. We enjoyed its location, the large yard, and the hot tub. We also thought that the bed was super comfortable, even though it was a little small. I was personally very happy with how sparkling clean the bathroom was! We were a little confused about how to heat the place, but just with one phone call to ask for help, we were taken care of within minutes. This was David's first trip to Lake Tahoe in the summertime, and he loved it. I practically grew up in Lake Tahoe, and have stayed in several cabins- and this one definitely matched up to the others I've loved. We look forward to returning to the Kokanee Cabin, next time with the dog! = )

  This cabin was very nice. It would not be good for more than two people, however. Way too small. You should change your advertising to say for two people only. Even with small kids, it is way too small.
  We also liked that we could bring our puppies with us. The backyard was wonderful and so was the hot tub.
  The only other thing that shocked me was the size of the extremely small bedroom. However the bed was comfortable.
  Other than the bedroom, the place was nice, clean with a great location.

  Beautiful location, we enjoyed our stay very much. But.......children nearly stepped into two collections of almost fresh dog "poop" right in front of the patio upon our arrival. Also, we were under the assumption, based upon the amenities list, that the cabin was outfitted with cable TV, yet only local channels were available. My husband was disappointed that ESPN was not available.

  Inside temps at night were fairly high. I noticed connectors on the windows for screens but unfortunately there were no screens. It would be nice to have those. Also, it would have been great to have at least two tumblers to serve cocktails or water in.

  This cabin was way more than I expected. I was amazed from the moment I stepped in the door. This cabin has charm and everythign you could need. I love the personal hot tub out in the back, and the bbq pit. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything from pots to spices and oil. The backyard was large and beautifull. I would come back again and again. my new secret getaway.

  This cabin is perfect! like a home away from home. its location is awesome! right next to the lake and town but at the same time its very private. its so comfortable with a hot tub and soft bedding (not like that horrible hotel bedding)and allows our four legged friend. I've stayed at other cabins in Tahoe and for the price, oh yeah its the best! perfect for a couples get-a-way and dont forget the pooch! i know i'll be back soon.

  This cabin is wonderful for those who need a working vacation and want to bring their dog along.
  
  My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary by doing exactly that. We stayed here a week, and it was a great experience. Our golden retriever loved playing fetch in the long back yard. And the back yard is nice for humans, too. The small seating area at the back is a nice place to relax. And speaking of relaxing, of course there is the hot tub.
  
  The location is perfect, being between the "Y" and the casinos, and only 3 blocks from the lake (alas, not dog-friendly there). However, it is only about 10 minutes from the Kiva dog beach (just the other side of Camp Richardson). The city of South Lake Tahoe has also just opened a dog park, less than 5 minutes away, at Bijou Regional Park, across from the community college on Al Tahoe Blvd.
  
  There are good restaurants in the area, such as Cafe Fiore on Ski Run Blvd., and for good ol' quick unhealthy American food there is the Sno-Flake just down the street.
  
  We are planning to return next year to spend another week.

• Location was great, the cabin was very cute. The only problem for us was we brought our two young children so space was a bit tight. For two people or couple with one child this place is fantastic with a great backyard for the kids to play in. We

  The quaint one bedroom was perfect! Loved the place and the atmosphere. I would reccommed this to anyone looking to get away with thier significant other. There were only two setbacks: People previously staying at the cabin didn't wash dishes very well, scrubbed a sheet pan on my vacation for thirty mins. Also, lighting out back could be better, would have liked to been able to see our surroundings (in the yard) perhaps with some path lighting or something.

  We really liked the backyard. It is pretty big and has a clean hot-tub. There is a BBQ and we cooked and ate all or dinner meals in the backyard. There were also books and boardgames to be used by the guests.
